Alright Blogger world, after multiple requests from my loyal followers (i.e. 3 whole comments from all of 2 of you), I've decided to post again. Maybe I'll even be consistent and we can just call the last few months a summer hiatus.
Not much is going on out here in my world. I moved, which I think I've already mentioned. I'm back in the valley where I belong, and I love it! I'm just not hip enough to live over the hill. I'm meant to be in the 'burbs of the valley where there are tree lined streets, driveways in every yard, and < gasp > free parking!! Plus I like living right next to all the studios. I can practically reach out and touch Universal, Warner Bros, NBC, and Disney. Don't ever let anyone tell you that NoHoBurLake (a self coined phrase for the area encompassing North Hollywood/Burbank/Toluca Lake) is not one of the most awesome spots in America.
This summer, I've done a lot of going to work. They pay me, so I keep going back. I've done a lot of hanging out in my apartment and had a lot of good times here. Occasionally, I've ventured out to hang with friends outside of the abode. It usually involves getting food because we like to eat (and sadly, it shows!).
I got to go to Orlando in June to hang out with the fam. That was a lot of fun! Evidently I didn't really take any pics, so I don't have anything to share. But then Jolee and mom got to come visit me, and....I still don't have any pics to share. I distinctly remember taking pictures during both of these occasions, but I'm guessing it just wasn't with my camera. Below is the only picture I have taken during the latter occasion and I only share it with you because it's just so true.
I went to a Faith Hill concert at the gorgeous Hollywood Bowl and actually got to meet her. That was definitely the highlight of the summer. Lucky for you, I do have a picture to share of this spectacular event. And now this wonderfully upbeat association with the Hollywood Bowl has replaced the extremely negative previous association as being the site of totaling my car. Snaps all around.
Snaps, you say? Yes, snaps. I just went to see Legally Blonde: The Musical, so snaps are stuck in my head. That was super fun also. Did any of you get to see it? I'm pretty sure it's the same tour that made its way through Fayetteville earlier this summer. I bought the CD after seeing the musical, but I realize I like the girl playing Elle in the touring company better than the girl on the CD. Still enjoyable though. It closes on Sunday. I think I might just have to sneak back in for another show before then. We'll see if time permits.
So that's the grand total of what I've been up to this summer. Maybe the fall will be more exciting...

Glad you finally posted! I'll try to call you in the next few days to make sure your place hasn't burned down with all of the fires going on around there.
HEY!! Who are you again? I'll send you the pics of FL and CA. Promise... guess I forgot that you didn't take any.
